Dr Tawkir Chowdhury MBBS.MS.MCh.FRCS.(Edin,UK) is a plastic and cosmetic surgeon by profession has done MS in general surgery followed by MCh in plastic surgery and subsequently obtained FRCS from Edinburgh university in UK. He has been working in the field of Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery since last 20+ years with special interest in facial cosmetic surgery and Hair transplant.
He has been visiting fellows to many university hospitals in INDIA and Abroad and gained wide experience in Aesthetic Surgery He is regularly attending conferences and workshops related to his specialty in India and overseas. He is the head of our Team of Hair transplant surgery at REGAIN AESTHETIC CLINIC in Kolkata and regularly doing FUT, FUE and combined FUT & FUE depending on various indications also Body hair, beard & eyebrow transplantation, besides doing other regular cosmetic surgery procedures like Abdominoplasty , Liposuction & other Body contouring procedures, Breast Aesthetic Surgeries in both Males & Females, Nasal Aesthetic Surgery etc.
He is also regularly involved in doing reconstructive Plastic surgical procedures like reconstruction of Burn Patients, Skin grafting, Traumatic Hand Surgeries, Lower Limb surgeries, correction of congenital defects etc for the patients from Eastern India and from Abroad as well.
